According to the BBC, a new 34-meter Sunseeker burned to the ground while on the hard in Poole Harbour in Dorset Friday night, May 6.
The fire apparently broke out on the flybridge and inside the accommodation space, destroying the vessel completely. No one was hurt and nearby vessels were moved to safety, but it took more than 50 firefighters to battle the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

hi guys
seems like is a problem on this boats the fire on the flybridge...on barcelona around 2008 same yard have a brand new 20 mts boat got fire on the fly, they say was a problem with the eletric system for the bbq,anyway lucky nobody got hurt, if you want can check fot the video on youtube(search for fire marina port vell and or incendio marina port vell)2 more boats got the fire, 1 full wrecked th other one very bad!!!

Barcelona for example the company I work in have a special fireproof treatment certified
UNE (european laws) and also certified tests by VERITAS acording to IMO Res A688 (bedding
components) and A 652 (upholstery furniture).
