Looking to start after college

I am 22 years of age, currently a student at UCF looking to graduate this coming Fall semester. I am very interested in becoming a deckhand and wanted to know the best way to get into a deckhand position. I know experience is the most important aspect of obtaining a job but since I have never worked on a yacht or crew ship before, all I have is what I have experienced through out my life on boats. I've been on the water my whole life on the family boat. Taking trips across to the Bahama islands through calm weather and tough storms. I have my boaters license and I'm a certified Master Scuba Diver. What would be the best way in searching for a deckhand job after college be? Any tips or advice would be great!
