International Technic Marine (ITM) shipyard in Marseille is seeking buyers or investors for the shipyard. The yard “recently experienced a period of uncertainty, following restructuring within the company’s management. This unfortunately coincided with the effects of the economic crisis on theotherwise profitable yachting industry. ITM now finds itself in serious financial difficulties, which have led to a judicial review in order to avoid bankruptcy.”

An international call for bids has been initiated.

ITM has the exclusive use of four large dry docks and 300 meters of repairing piers, via the Port of Marseille. In addition, ITM initiated and supervised the construction of a watershed in 2008, which has housed several highly successful projects now considered benchmarks in the refit market.

Bid application packs are available. Contact ITM’s administrative receiver, Johanna Fabre — johanna.fabre@scp-bouet-gillibert.fr at SCP BOUET GILLIBERT. Applications will be received until December 20, 2013.
