A 94m motor cruiser iscurrently looking for 5X CHEFS to join their team. Previous experience inworking and living at sea is preferable.
A Current passport is a must.The Cruise liner will cruise the South Pacific, Asia & Australiandestinations.
Must be able to commit to 6week rosters this depends on the ships itinerary. Generally six weeks onand six weeks off. The cruise liner accommodates 72 guests in 36 cabins. Thecruise liner has been specifically designed as an excursion vessel “Explorer”.The Cruise liner has two zodiacs and a spacious glass bottom coral viewingboat. The cruise liner is Australian Owned and Flagged. Previous experience on passenger carrying vessels ispreferable.
The Company will arrangeflights and associated accommodation from Australian home base only.
Must not get seasick and beable to cook for up to 72 people with ease,
Itinerary: Great Barrier Reef,Interstate and International.
QUALIFICATIONS: Commercial CookeryQualification & Food Handlers Certificate; AMSA Endorsed Marine CookCertificate; AMSA Endorsed Certificate of Safety Training (CoST)
Passenger Ship training; AMSAMedical; MSIC Card; First Aid & CPR
START DATE: Immediate Start
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FULL-TIME – but you will be working on a rostersystem 6 weeks on 6 weeks off.
SALARY: $65 -70,000AUD a year + super 1 year commitmentrequired.
